We had a great time Saturday night at Rockwood. Dan Fabricatore (bass), Dave Burnett (drums), Jess Wolfe (vocals), and Holly Laessig (vocals) killed it! Myself and Luca were no slouches either, if I may toot our proverbial horns, or is it pluck our proverbial strings? No matter, a huge thank you to all the folks who came out, and apologies to all of the folks who couldn’t get in right at the start. We’ll get a bigger venue for the next one so that can’t happen again!

First and foremost is our residency at Pete’s Candy Store in Brooklyn! Come out to Pete’s every Monday night at 9:30 to get your fill of hoots and hollering!

If you can’t make it to Pete’s, you can always come by Claret Wine Bar every other Tuesday for some good food, good wine, and good tunes! The Bobbys will be playing Claret next Tuesday, April 12th, at 8:00 pm!

If you still haven’t had your fill of twang in the month of April, feel free to check out The Bobbys at Two Boots in Brooklyn on the 29th of April at 10:00pm! Whether you’re in the mood for pizza, Cajun food, or just the sound of music, Two Boots is the place to be!

In other news, The Dang-it Bobbys next album, “Big Trouble”, is on its way to completion! The tracks have been recorded and mixed, and we’re on to the mastering process! You can expect the new album to be out in the month of June!

Don’t forget, the Bobbys will be playing at two festivals this summer! The first, the Block Island Music Festival, will be held on June 15th, so bring your whole family for a nice summer getaway to Block Island, Rhode Island!

The Bobbys have also been invited to play at Musikfest, a 10 day music festival that takes place in Bethlehem, PA. The Bobbys will be playing at the Main Street Stage on August 14th from 2-3, and then again from 3:30-4:30! Feel free to come down and show your support!

The Bobbys have been chosen to play at Musikfest, a ten-day music festival held in the month of August in Bethlehem, PA! Among others, Musikfest will feature The Steve Miller Band, Alison Krauss & Union Station ft. Jerry Douglas, and Steely Dan! The Dang-it Bobbys will be playing two sets at the Main Street Stage on August 14th. Come on down!

Last but not least, The Bobbys still need your help! They have a chance to rehearse at the Gibson Showroom in midtown, which would be a great press opportunity, as well as a chance to use state of the art equipment! The band features Erik Deutsch on the spaced-out keyboard, the rhythmic stylings of Dave Burnett on drums, Jeff Hanley on the funky funk bass, and the man you all know and love, Luca, on the electric guitar. Others who have played with the band are Tony Mason, Stephan Crump, Dan Rieser, J. Walter Hawkes, Ben Rubin and Bennett Paster, to name a few.

The group has a very unique sound, sometimes funky, sometimes bluesy, and usually very spacey. When listening to the studio album, “Ta Da…”, one can only imagine the opportunities and potential the band has for live performances. Many of the songs are just asking to be jammed on, like the beginning of Hoop and Pole. They are definitely worth listening to, and will provide many great shows to catch.

In fact, they’re playing Sullivan Hall tonight, March 10th! They’ll be going on at 9:30 pm, and are sure to provide some great music.
